Before replacing the rear brake hose, hold the axle at the normal curb position. Put a piece of wood on the foot brake pedal to maintain pressure in the brakes and isolate the master cylinder, so brake fluid does not drain as you bleed the flushing area. Following this, get under the car and lift it. Take off the brake lines 1 and 3 attached to brake hose 2 and remove brake line 2 from brake hose 3. Afterward, remove the mounting clip 1 for brake hose 3 on the frame and then take off hose 3.
