Position the rear door hinge onto the door so that if the epoxy bonded washers aren't attached, the door might require adjustment. If you need to remove them, you should install epoxy bonded washers afterward. Put in the hinges and hinge bolts slightly so they are secure, line them up according to the small marks made before and then tighten to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.). Line up the rear door to the main body and make sure it is held up by an appropriate lifting tool. Tighten just enough the five bolts that join the rear door hinges to the B-pillar so that the door hangs correctly with the body, check the alignment by the marks you made, then tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Couple the rear door wire harness to the body wire harness and reconnect the negative cable to the battery. Adjust the rear door if it is needed.
