2009 Jeep Commander Speed Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Speed Sensor and Its Related Components on 2009 Jeep Commander?
A: Begin by attaching again the wheel speed sensor wire connector to the vehicle's connector. After that, connect the wire from the wheel speed sensor to the routing clips. Fasten the wheel speed sensor inside the hub, using the mounting bolt and tighten the nut to a range of 12-14 Nm (106-124 in. lbs.). Secure the sensor wire in such a way as to keep it from coming into contact with any chassis pieces and to prevent twisting or bending. Start by fitting the rotor, then overlay the caliper adaptor over top of the rotor. Use a torque wrench to tighten the caliper adaptor bolts between 90 and 115 Nm (66 and 85 ft. lbs.). In the end, fit the tire and wheel combination, remove the support and bring down the vehicle.
