How to Remove and Replace a Front Crankshaft Seal on 2009 Jeep Liberty?

Disconnect the battery's negative cable before you try to remove the front crankshaft seal. After that, take out the accessory drive belt. Next, take out the mounting fasteners for the A/C compressor and put them somewhere safe. Remove the coolant and take off the top radiator hose. Disconnect the fan's electrical connector and then remove all fasteners that attach the shroud covering the radiator. Once you've finished with the radiator, take out the radiator cooling fan and the shroud. After removing the crankshaft damper bolt, place the Crankshaft Insert 8513A and pull the damper out using the Three Jaw Puller 1026. In the end, take out the crankshaft front seal with the Seal Remover 8511.
