How to Service and Repair the Camshaft Position Sensor for 2.0 and 2.4L Engines on 2010 Dodge Avenger?

Removing or replacing the camshaft position sensor at the rear on 2.0 and 2.4L engines will require starting with the removal of the negative battery cable. Then, disconnect the sensor's wire and free the screen by removing the nut that holds down the heat shield. Take out the heat shield to see the sensor, unscrew the mounting bolt and then remove the sensor.
