2010 Dodge Avenger Oil Pressure Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to service an Oil Pressure Switch on 2010 Dodge Avenger?
A: You should first take off and isolate the negative battery cable before performing any service on the oil pressure sender. After that, lift and prop up the vehicle. After that, take off the splash shield that is mounted to the right side frame rail. Once that's achieved, take out the accessory drive belt next. Take out the three bolts after that and place the A/C compressor in its new position. After that, remove the oil pressure switch electric connection and then take out the switch using the C-4597 socket or one that can be used instead.
