2010 Jeep Liberty Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove a Brake Master Cylinder on 2010 Jeep Liberty?
A: It is important to exhaust all air from the power brake booster before you remove the Brake Master Cylinder, by pumping the brakes five times without the engine on or carefully checking and changing the booster valve. After that, empty the fluid from the reservoir (2), remove the wireless level sensor cable (3) from the reservoir and pull away the brake lines (4) at the master cylinder. Afterward, get rid of the mounting nuts (5) and take out the master cylinder. Remove the cylinder cover and empty the last of the fluid. If the master cylinder reservoir has to be serviced, apply the right procedures.
