How to Install a Crankshaft Seal on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?

Place Special Tool C-4992-2 Guide carefully over the crankshaft nose to guide the Front Crankshaft Seal installation. After that, place the new seal on top of the guide, with its seal spring at the engine cover side. Hold Special Tool C-4992-1 as you push the seal against the groove in the cover until it is flush. Following that, install the crankshaft damper and the accessory drive belt. The vehicle should be lowered in the last step and the negative cable should be attached to the battery.
