How to Remove a Crankshaft Seal on Jeep Wrangler?

Before removing the front crankshaft seal, be sure to remove the negative battery cable. After that, remove the accessory drive belt. Afterward, remove the crankshaft damper. Secure Special Tool 6341A onto the crankshaft nose and gently tighten the tool with your fingers to ensure it engages with the seal, without hurting the surface of the cover. After that, turn the forcing screw until you hear the seal come loose from inside the cover.
