Before working on the antenna cable, take out the negative cable from the battery first. Separate the antenna by turning it counterclockwise and making sure it sleeps, if the car has a manual antenna you need to lower. Should there by an antenna, pull off the shroud, unscrew the antenna nut and remove the adapter. Separate the cable from the instrument panel antenna and if you can't get to the bolts, remove the inner fender shield. Once the fasteners are removed, pull the antenna and its cable from the fender. Put the antenna and its cable into the fender and attach the mounting screws to 7 Nm (75 in. lbs.). Carry the antenna cable through the metal fender opening, slide the grommet into the side panel and link the cable to the harness connector of the instrument panel. Replace the antenna nut and adapter, put on the shroud if you have one and then install the inner fender shield. Then, put the antenna mast in place, match the antenna cable to the instrument panel cable and add the right side cowl panel before the battery's negative cable is plugged in.
