You should begin by putting the top in the raised position and then unhook the negative battery cable. Remove the rear seat cushion, both of the interior quarter trim panels and the rear seat back. Removing the top with push-pins, take out the well liner as well. After that, remove the top panel cover of the hydraulic pump/motor assembly from the shelf and disconnect the top wire harness from the main car wire harness. Lift out the two nuts that secure the pump/motor assembly to the shelf panel and remove the six clips holding the hydraulic hoses and top wires in place, being sure to mark where the shelf seat brackets were before. Remove both nuts and all three bolts attaching one seat back bracket and do the same for the second bracket. Afterward, pull out the two bolts connecting each hydraulic cylinder to the main pivot brackets and separate the hydraulic cylinders from the main pivot brackets so that you can remove the pump/motor assembly from the vehicle. Stand the hydraulic pump/motor unit into the vehicle and set the hydraulic cylinders into each pivot bracket, fastening them in place with their two bolts. Position each bracket according to the marks on the car, add three bolts and two nuts and tighten the bolts. After that, put the six clips in place for the hydraulic hoses and wire harness and secure the assembly to the shelf panel with two nuts. Join the convertible top wire harness to the body harness and afterward place the coverage over the hydraulic pump or motor. Guide the fall well liner into the vehicle and hold it in place with the push-pins you attach to the rear seat and body. Ultimately, attach the rear seat back, the rear seat quarter panels in the interior, the rear seat cushion and then link the negative cable on the battery.
