First take off the trim and watershield on the inside of the rear door to access the rear door exterior handle. Take the door glass channel and bracket off next and afterwards remove the latch. Unscrew the three bolts along the outside edge, then take the handle off the door itself. While installing, put the new handle on the mounting points and secure them with three screws, tightened firmly with 5 N.m (44 in.lbs.). Reattach the latch, then the door glass channel and bracket, then the watershield and finally put the trim panel back onto the inside of the rear door.
