  Before opening the coolant reservoir for the 2.0/2.4L non-turbo engine, unhook the overflow tube from the coolant outlet connector, take off the vent hose clip from the dash stud and unplug the MAP sensor. Then, take out the screws holding the power steering fluid reservoir bracket to the engine and reposition the reservoir, followed by removing the coolant reservoir after removing its fasteners. Turn off the engine and first remove the overflow hose from the coolant outlet connector, then lift the car on a hoist using a crane or jack for the turbo engine. Unscrew the lower screw holding the coolant reservoir to the dash panel and lower the car. Remove the shield covering the Throttle Cable from the Throttle Body, disconnect both cables and rearrange them afterward. Remove the nut locking the coolant reservoir to the dash panel and also remove the whole container.

  Before servicing or repairing the coolant reservoir for the 2.0/2.4L non-turbo engine, pull out the overflow hose, take off the vent hose clip and unplug the MAP sensor. Come next, take out the screws holding the power steering fluid reservoir bracket to the engine and put the reservoir back in front of the coolant recovery container. Finish by taking off the container by undoing its fasteners. For the turbo engine, cut the overflow hose from the coolant outlet connector, lift the car on a hoist, take out the bottom screw from the coolant recovery container to the dash panel and then lower it back down. After that, take off the shield around the Throttle Cable, break the connections between the cables and Throttle Body and put the cables back where they belong. Then, take out the nut that is holding the coolant recovery container to the dash panel and remove the container.
