Slide the switch away from the module far enough that the electrical connector appears. After that, unplug the wire harness from behind the left multi-function switch and take out the switch from the dashboard module.

Take off both upper and lower shroud pieces of the steering column in the first step. Unscrew the screw that holds the left multi-function switch to the mounting bracket on the left of the Clock Spring. Pull the lever away from the Clock Spring to release the slide tabs from their place in the mounting bracket. You then need to unclip the jumper wire harness from the inboard end of the left multi-function switch and remove the switch out of the Clock Spring.
