How to remove a Steering Column Cover on Chrysler Sebring?

First, raise the steering wheel as far as it will go to remove the cover from the steering column. After that, take off the cover over the steering column opening. After that, get the steering column cover reinforcement screws and take off the mounting screws from the cover. Press on the tilt lever until the column is fully tilted downward but do not lock the release handle on the side of the column. Take out the screws below the upper shroud and after that, press on the sides of the shrouds where they are connected to unclip them. Take out the lower shroud and then pull the column all the way to its fullest position. After you remove the cover for the shroud gap hider, pull the two side and four upper retaining tabs to release the hider from the instrument cluster. The last step is to remove the top shroud covering the column.
