Take off the cover from the power steering fluid reservoir and suck out the fluid with a siphon pump. Undo the tube nut to remove the pressure hose (1) from the pump (2). After that, undo the nuts (5) holding the pressure hose routing clamps to the engine and then remove the clamps from the studs (3). Find and remove the screw at the left side of the engine that holds the routing clamp. Elevate the chassis, then take out the screw (2) that fixes the routing clamp to the rear of the crossmember. Pull the pressure hose out of the gear port after removing the tube nut that joins them (3 and 4). Position the vehicle on jack stands just below the height needed to work, ensure the pressure hose is above the floor and then push the hose down and out behind the front suspension crossmember for completion.
