The first step in serving or repairing the fluid pan is to remove the engine cover, battery and battery tray. Also, remove the relay in the core support and then drain the radiator. Pull the clamp out of the upper radiator hose and afterward unclip the upper radiator hose from the clamp. Unbolt the bolts securing the power steering lines and cut the shift cable loose from the manual lever. Unscrew the bolts on the top valve body oil pan and then take out the connector for the solenoid pack from the valve body oil pan. Lift the vehicle with a hoist and pop out the front left side inner wheel splash screws from the door opening, then pull the shield back. Turn the steering wheel to its maximum left position, pull out the ground cable bolt, open the clip at the valve body pan and remove the cable from the pan as you go.
