Make sure to cut power to the wiring system at the battery negative terminal before working on your windshield washer reservoir. Take out the front fascia and unplug the electrical harness connectors that go to the reservoir. Remove the hose from the reservoir to drain the fluid, then take off the rear mounting For the reservoir followed by all the other fasteners to take it out of the car. Put the reservoir back in your vehicle, then install the mounting fasteners, Make sure you tighten them firmly to 7 N.m (62 in. lbs). Put in place the rear mounting bracket, tightened to 7 N.m (62 in. lbs) and then reattach the electrical cables and all hoses to the reservoir tank. Install the front fascia back in place, replace the negative cable running from the battery and top up the reservoir.

Before servicing or repairing the windshield washer reservoir, take the negative battery cable off. Open the rear half of the right front inner fender liner and separate the washer fluid level switch wire, as well as the one going to the washer pump motor.
