  Before beginning, put a new rubber grommet seal/filter screen unit into the windshield washer pump opening in the reservoir, making sure it's not used. After that, place the inlet nipple of the washer pump into the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the reservoir and press the washer pump/motor unit downward until the nipple is completely secured. Connect the two washer hoses to the barbed pump outlet nipples, so that the hose in the trough alongside the reservoir engine attaches to the rear black nipple and the hose on the inboard side attaches to the front white nipple. After that, plug the wire harness connector from the engine compartment into the top connector receptacle of the motor housing. Once that's done, put the battery negative cable back in and replace the washer fluid you siphoned from the reservoir during the removal step.

  The first step is to take the negative Battery Cable out and isolate it from the rest of the system. Scoop the washer fluid from the tank (1) into a clean container that you can use again. After that, pull the engine compartment wire harness connector away from the washer pump/motor unit connector receptacle found up on the motor housing. After that, unwind the two washer hoses (4 and 5) from the ends of the pump/motor unit. While pulling the washer pump/motor unit out, be sure the inlet nipple separates from the seal/filter on the reservoir without being damaged. Last, get rid of the rubber grommet or filter screen that was covering the hole in the pump mount inside the washer's reservoir.
