Battery Cable to stop the SRS, allow two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge and then isolate and disconnect the cable. To start, take off the upper shroud as well as the lower shroud from the steering column. After that, take off the screw located on the right multi-function switch, as it's fastened to the mounting bracket. Slide the switch above the
Clock Spring to pull the attachment on the bottom out of the slanted channel under the mounting bracket. After that, take out the jumper wire harness connector from the inboard receptacle of the multi-function switch and then separate the switch from the Clock Spring.
