For
Piston ring service, make sure to do all of the necessary machining and mating as required during a full engine overhaul which covers the cylinder block and bore, connecting rod and bearings,
Crankshaft and bearings, valve train parts, engine oil, valves, seats, springs, rockers and pistons. During disassembly and assembly of the smaller subassemblies, you service the cylinder head, cylinder block, hydraulic tappets if they are present, oil pump and valves. Procedure involves checking and cleaning the cylinder head, cylinder block, both shafts and their journals, two manifolds and the valve train pieces. A separate service procedure for an internal engine component usually means the manufacturer did not include one.
