How to service and repair the heater core on Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

Take the heater-A/C housing off the engine compartment first and then take off the cover on the top of the housing. With the screw removed from the heater-A/C housing, raise the heater core from its side-mounted tube support bracket. Install the heater core to the bottom of the heater-A/C housing and insert and tighten the screw at the top to secure the bracket at 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Fasten the cover to the top of the heater-A/C housing and then put the entire assembly back into the engine compartment.
