Before approaching the high pressure sensor/switch, make sure to cut and isolate the negative battery cable. Remove the wire harness connector from the high pressure cut-off switch which is connected to a fitting on the tube between the compressor and the condenser inlet. Take out the high pressure cut-off switch from inside the discharge line fitting by unscrewing it and remove it from the vehicle, throwing out the O-ring seal from the discharge line fitting as well. During installation, lubricate an O-ring seal with clean oil meant for R-134a and fit it on the discharge line fitting, while only using O-rings made of special material for your system and the suggested refrigerant oil for your compressor. Set the high pressure cut-off switch on the discharge line fitting to 7.5 Nm (5.5 ft. lbs.), install the wire harness connector into the switch and afterwards, attach the battery negative cable again.
