First, use a cotter pin and a nut to unlock the drag link attached to the pitman arm and then use a puller to remove the drag link ball stud from it. Then, unscrew the nut and washer from the steering gear shaft and use marking pen to identify the pitman shaft and pitman arm. You can then pop off the pitman arm from the steering gear with Puller C-4150A. First, mount the pitman arm onto the steering gear shaft, then add on the washer and nut, but make certain the nut is tightened to 251 Nm (185 ft. lbs.). After that, fit the drag link ball stud to the pitman arm, tighten it with a nut to 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.) and install a new cotter pin.

After that, add the drag link ball stud to the pitman arm and secure it using a 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.) tightened nut. Insert the track bar into the frame and you may have to loosen the axle unit to put the track bar at the frame rail. Attach the track bar at the frame rail bracket using a nut and bolt and be sure to tighten the bolt to 169 Nm (125 ft. lbs.). After you remove the support, bring the vehicle down, top off the power steering fluid and have a look at the toe setting.
