Before installing the throttle body, first, put a new
Intake Manifold to throttle body gasket (2) when needed and install its four new four j-nuts (1) if required. Tighten the mounting bolts for the throttle body to fit the guidelines, since overdoing it could result in damage to these components. After that, connect the throttle body (1) to the intake manifold (2) with the four bolts (4), but don't tighten them fully yet. Couple the connector from the throttle body (1) to its electrical signal wire (3). Every time you rotate the throttle body, start with the mounting bolts in a cross pattern and tighten all bolts with a torque wrench to 7.5 Nm (65 in. lbs.). After that, attach the clean air hose and make sure the two clamps are tightened to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.). After that, attach the other negative
Battery Cable and tighten its nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.). To finish, scan your vehicle all over again to reprogram your car and clear every prior DTC using the ETC Relearn function.
