If you want to remove the windshield washer reservoir connected to the optional diesel engine, first cut off and isolate the negative
Battery Cable. Pull the liquid from the reservoir into an empty and clean container for later use. Take out the wire harness connector from the engine compartment and plug it into the washer pump or motor. Before you remove the hoses, remember the position they are attached to help during installation. Detach the front and rear washer hoses from the washer pump which you'll find on the outboard side of the reservoir. Remove the screw that holds the tab from the top of the reservoir to the metal U-nut inside the top of the radiator fan shroud. Take the washer reservoir up far enough that the front T-tab and the two tabs underneath can be moved out of their slots found in the shroud. After cleaning the washer reservoir, remove it from under the hood.
