How to Service and Repair a Brake Proportioning Valve on 2001 Dodge Dakota?

To service the brake proportioning valve, depress the brake pedal so that the master cylinder is isolated. Remove the air cleaner to access it, remove the brake tube and loosen the valve. Lubricate or replace the O-ring, reinstall the valve and tighten connections. Finally, have a brake line bleed and a road test.
