How to Remove and Install a Canister Purge Valve on 2001 Dodge Durango?

To remove the duty cycle EVAP canister purge valve at the left-rear side of the engine near the power brake vacuum unit, first separate the electrical and vacuum harnesses from the valve. After that, take away the mounting nuts holding the support bracket. Then, lift out the valve along with its bracket from the vehicle. During installation, attach the EVAP canister purge valve to the bracket, install the nuts and fasten them to 8 Nm (75 In. lbs.) torque before joining the vacuum harness and wiring connector.
