How to Service and Repair a Brake Disc on 2001 Jeep Wrangler?

When servicing the brake disc, begin with taking off the wheel and the tire, after that remove the caliper. After that, unscrew the retainers holding the disc to the hub studs and carefully take off the disc. If the disc shield needs to be tended, first remove the front hub and bearing assembly. If you are installing a new disc, remove any protective coating from the disc surfaces with carburetor cleaner prior to setting it on the hub. Reattach the caliper and finally put the wheel assembly on after that.
