How to Service and Repair a Brake Disc on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?

The first step to repair or service the brake disc is to eliminate the tire and wheel assembly from the car and next, the caliper. After that, unscrew the retainers and carefully take out the disc. If you need to service the disc shield, first take out the front hub and the bearing assembly. If you are installing a new disc, rub its surfaces with a carburetor cleaner to get rid of its protective layer. Then, put the disc onto the hub, connect the caliper again and place the wheel and tire assembly.
