How to Service and Repair a Timing Cover on 2001 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to mend the timing cover, disconnect the battery, remove the drive belt, and remove brackets, fan assembly, and A/C compressor as needed. Take out the timing cover and crankshaft oil seal. Wipe down, be sure a new seal is in place and then reassemble parts, tighten bolts to recommended tightness and reconnect the battery.
