How to Replace a Wiper Switch for the Rear Windshield on 2001 Jeep Wrangler?

To change the rear windshield wiper and washer switch, disconnect the battery negative cable, isolate it, wait for two minutes to allow the air bag capacitor to discharge and then continue. Pull off the bezel covering the instrument panel and use a thin-blade small screwdriver to ease off the snap clips holding the rear wiper and washer switch on the back of the bezel. Set the new switch above the receptacle on the back of the accessory switch bezel and push until you hear the snaps click. Last, put the accessory switch bezel back on the instrument panel and attach the battery negative cable again.
