How to Replace a Wiper Switch for the Rear Windshield on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?

Turn off the air bags by disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable and then wait at least two minutes to discharge the capacitor before you handle the switch and wiper. Firs, open the instrument panel and unscrew or pull the accessory switch bezel out. Pick out a thin and small screwdriver to carefully open the two snap clips on the rear wiper and washer switch on the back of the accessory switch bezel, then remove the switch. For installing the back wiper and washer switch, drop it into the proper spot behind the bezel and lightly push it to activate the snap retainers. After that, reattach the accessory switch bezel to the instrument panel and plug the battery negative cable back in.
