How to Replace an A/C Hose in an HVAC System for Liquid Hose on 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The first thing to do when changing an A/C liquid hose is to properly evacuate the refrigerant from the system. Click the nut freeing the liquid line fitting from its point of connection to the outlet of the condenser and disconnect them both. Unplug the O-ring covering the line of your refrigerant from the refrigerant line and use tape to securely block the condenser outlet and refrigerant line openings. Then, take out the nut holding the liquid line fitting to the mid-line connector block of the suction and liquid line assembly, pull off the fitting and trash the rubber O-ring seal. Again, cover the liquid line port at mid-line connector block with a plug and cover the refrigerant line fitting with tape. Take out the liquid line from the engine compartment. Drain all the refrigerant from the system before starting the installation and put on new line seals whenever you open an A/C connection. Afterwards, link the liquid line at the drier and then at the condenser. In the end, drain the refrigerant from the A/C system and load it again.
