2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser Blower Motor Resistor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Blower Motor Resistor on 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: Make sure you are not near the motor or resistor, as they will be hot and do not turn on the blower motor when the block is removed. The first thing to do is take off the windshield wipers and the cowl top screen. With that done, remove the resistor block wiring connector and unsnap the resistor block from the car before taking it out. Please snap the new Blower Motor Resistor Block where it belongs and then link the wiring connector back to the system. Following this, connect the cowl top screen, restore the windshield wipers and link up the battery negative cable.
