Before you can remove the evaporator core, you must take out the heater-A/C housing, remove the upper cover and lift the evaporator coil from the heater-A/C housing. When doing the installation, sectorial unit if the evaporator has been replaced, add 60 milliliters (2 fluid ounces) of refrigerant oil to the system, place the coil into the bottom of the heater-A/C housing, reassemble everything and finally reinstall the housing into the car.
