- Q: How to Service and Repair a Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?A: Lift the tab on the Quick Connect Anchor to remove it and remove the seat bezel, then peel away the top part of the seat back. Latch the seat back and pull the locking cable out of the retractor before you remove the bolt. Feeding the webbing and hardware into the seat frame will help you escape the retractor. During installation, push the webbing and hardware into the seat's frame and put in the retractor, clamping the retractor bolt at 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Anchored to the retractor, click open the seat back latch, fix the rear seat covering, set in the seat bezel and lastly, put the Quick Connect Anchor on.
