To remove the accumulator, disconnect the battery negative cable and recover refrigerant. Unplug pressure switch, remove speed control servo if necessary and disconnect refrigerant lines. Remove the accumulator and then put the new one in place, reconnect lines and tighten fasteners. If replacing the accumulator, add refrigerant oil.
