How to Maintain the Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor on 2003 Dodge Neon?

Upon rear center three-point seat belt retractor servicing, first pull out the rear seat bottom and back and next, take off the bezel attached to the parcel shelf cover. After that, eliminate the push fasteners securing the retractor, along with the bolts connecting the retractor to the floor and the lower seat belt anchor. Pull the seat belt bezel and buckle stab out from under the access hole in the parcel shelf and in the trunk, unclip the rear seat belt retractor. Put the rear seat belt retractor in the trunk and feed the seat belt bezel and buckle stab through the hole in the rear shelf trim panel. Attach the bolt that holds the retractor to the floor and use a 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) torque to tighten it. Carefully connect the NVH cover and the pair of push fasteners to the center retractor, then, with the seat belt lower anchor bolt, tighten it to 57 Nm (42 ft. lbs.) torque. After that, fit the seat belt bezel to the rear shelf panel and attach the rear seat back once again.
