How to Maintain and Fix a Rear Center Seat Belt and Retractor on 2004 Dodge Neon?

First, uninstall the rear seat cushion, then lift the rear seat back off and finally remove the seat belt bezel from the underside of the parcel shelf. After that, pull off the bolt holding the seat belt lower anchor to the floor. For the back middle seat belt and retractor silencer cover, push the two fasteners holding the NVH cover aside and stick the bezel and buckle stab through the hole in the parcel shelf. Remove the bolt that holds the retractor to the lower shelf bracket and take the retractor from the rear seat belt in the trunk transversely. To install, put the rear seat belt retractor in the trunk compartment and pass the seat belt bezel and buckle stab through the rear shelf panel access hole. Fit the bolt that links the retractor to the rear floor, tighten it to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) torque. Reattach the NVH cover and hold it in place with the two push clips placed over the center retractor, afterward fasten the seat belt lower anchor bolt to the floor and tighten it to 57 Nm (42 ft. lbs.). After that, install the seat belt bezel onto the rear shelf trim panel and place the rear seat cushion as well as the back.
