How to Service the Headlight Switch on 2004 Dodge Dakota?

Before continuing, you should separate and cover the negative cable of the battery. Take out the bezel holding the cluster from the instrument panel, disconnect the wire connector from the headlamp switch and remove the switch from the bezel. For installation, put the headlamp switch into the cluster bezel and then use a screw driver to fix and tighten the screws to 2.2 N-m (20 in. lbs.). Attach the wire harness once more to the headlamp switch, install the cluster bezel on top of the instrument panel and finally reconnect the negative terminal cable of the battery.
