Thread Special Tool 8512-A by first attaching the nut onto the threaded rod, adding the roller bearing so the hardened side of the bearing faces the nut and attaching the hardened washer. Apply Mopar Nickel Anti-Seize or its alternative to the rod's threads. After mounting Special Tool 8512-A, press the damper on the crankshaft and tighten the bolt to 175 Nm (130 ft. lbs.).
