How to Service the A/C Switch on 2004 Dodge Ram 2500?

When working on the control device, take out the negative cable from the battery, isolate it and wait for two minutes before the capacitor in the air bag system has completely discharged. Start by taking the battery negative cable off the vehicle. Take the center bezel off the instrument panel and unscrew the A/C-heater control panel from the panel. To install, place the A/C-heater control in the center of the instrument panel bezel and tighten the retaining screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). After that, put the center bezel back in place and secure the negative cable to the battery.
