2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Blower Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service a Blower Motor Without Using Air Conditioning on 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: In order to get the blower motor working on a car with no air conditioning, first separate the negative battery cable and next take out the blower motor wire harness. Press the locking tab, draw the motor down and rotate it in a counterclockwise motion about a quarter turn to release it from the HVAC. When you install it, insert the blower motor into the housing and move it clockwise a little over 1/8 turn to secure the tab. After that, attach the blower motor wire harness connector and put the negative battery cable back on.
