Before removing the rear door latch, first, remove the door trim panel and then lift the door glass all the way up. After that, remove the lower rear run channel and take out the clips that hold the linkage rods to the door latch. Afterward, you should remove the linkage rods from the latch and undo the screws that connect it to the door end frame which will allow you to take the latch out of the car. Put the door latch in the correct place on the vehicle and attach it to the door end frame with screws. Then, make sure the linkage rods and the lock and latch rods are attached to the door latch. Lastly, place back the lower rear run channel and the door trim panel and be sure not to shut the door until you make any needed adjustments to the latch.
