  A: Start by opening the hood, disconnecting the battery negative cable and opening the windshield washer reservoir's lid. With the trim stick (special tool #C-4755) or something similar, carefully detach the wiper arm nut cap and pull out the retaining nut. Then, rock the arm in an over/centered position to remove it from the pivot. After that, take off the right cowl cover which is behind the left side cover, by loosening the rear engine compartment seal and removing the push retainers. Pull out the screws that secure the washer reservoir to the retainer plate, disconnect the hose and wire from the pump and raise the reservoir out of the cowl box. Then drain it into a bucket. While putting in the new reservoir, place the washer pump on it and insert the new reservoir grommet between the two. Insert the pump into the pump grommet, then firmly snap the pump into the reservoir and return the reservoir to the cowl area. After that, connect the washer hoses, making sure the one with the white stripe is attached to the white side of the pump and the black hose to the black side. Wire the pump, fit the three screws in the reservoir with a torque of 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.) and then place the cowl cover so the right side covers the left side. Attach the rear side cowl cover and fit the two push retainers and then fix the rear engine sealing cover into place. Before fitting the wiper arms, power on the wipers and put them in park, then arrange the wiper arms so the tips of the drivers and middle of the passenger's are aligned with the park line on the windshield. Lift the wiper arm and start with it over the pivot, fasten the wiper arm retaining nut followed by tightening it to 21 Nm (190 in. lbs.). Then, place the cover over the wiper arm nut. After that, attach the negative battery cable, shut the hood and confirm everything is working again.
