How to Service the Front Brake Disc on 2005 Dodge Neon?

The first step to repair the front brake disc is to lift the automobile, take off the front tire and wheel assembly. Then, take the front caliper away from the brake disc and set it somewhere safe for now. Prise the clips off the brake disc and pull it directly off the wheel studs. When installing, place the brake disc over the wheel's studs against the hub. Replace the front disc brake caliper, making certain that the brake caliper piston moves out if needed to fit the brake shoes to the disc. With the tire in place, put the wheel and tire assembly back, making sure the wheel mounting nuts are tightened to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs). Afterward, lower the car, step on the brake and let go to make sure the brake shoes are touching the disc.
