How to Service a Throttle Position Sensor on 2005 Dodge Neon?

Before handling the Throttle Position Sensor, it's important to disconnect the negative battery cable. After that, detach the clamp connecting the air duct to the throttle body and get rid of the air cleaner box's mounting bolt and nut. Lift the air cleaner box and thermal body up to access the sensor and then take the sensor out. While installing, start by placing the throttle position sensor in the right place, next attach the air cleaner box and tighten the bolts and nuts that hold the throttle body in place, put back the hose and tighten its clamp and, lastly, reconnect the negative battery cable.
