How to Maintain and Fix Front Coil Springs on 2005 Jeep Liberty?

Before you start working on the front coil spring, lift and support your car and remove the tire and its wheel. Following that, take the shock out and attach the assembly to the W-7200 Spring compressor. Squeeze the spring, loosen the shock mount nut and then remove the shock from the spring compressor. Move over the Insulator, Spring, shock and mount depending on the kind of repair found. Add the shock to the spring and spring compressor so it is held in place and after transferring the parts, install the shock mounting nut and secure it at 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Compressing the springs lower, get off them from the compressor and onto the car again. When you're done, reattach the tire and wheel assembly, remove the support and drive down the vehicle.
