2006 Chrysler Crossfire Brake Disc Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install a Rear Brake Disc on 2006 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: Support the vehicle by lifting it and then get rid of the wheel and tire assembly. After that, undo the mounting bolts and disconnect the caliper from the knuckle to support it and not damage the brake hose. Following this, get rid of the rotor retaining bolt and separate the rotor from the hub. Install the rotor onto the wheel hub and use the rotor retaining bolt to tighten it to a torque of 10 Nm. Put the caliper assembly back on the rotor and install the bolts that connect the caliper, tightening them to 55 Newton meters. Once the reinstallation is done, lower the car, pump the brake pedal until the brakes are set and then you can drive the car.
